Born in 1942 James King lived in England until he emigrated to South Africa in 1995. There, as a consultant in the video gaming industry, he researched the nine provinces, townships and rural areas and gained an insight into the culture of the Country. In the early 1990’s James helped organise music stars Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, ELO and UB40 to tour South Africa but the project was aborted. He is now Chairman of a jewellery wholesaler and moved to Thailand in 2008 where he spends most of his time writing and taking photographs.more
